The Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) is the world’s largest international ballet competition. Each year thousands of aspiring dancers audition and compete in regional semi-finals across the globe, culminating in the prestigious finals. This past season, six of our Reach track students proudly represented Washington Rock Dance at YAGP, with two advancing to the finals, where they all showcased their talent, dedication, and artistry. Dancers in this track take, at minimum, two private lessons per week (one in classical ballet and one in contemporary) and are members of all three other Reach programs (Ballet Company, Modern Company, and Performance Ensembles).
